Hi we’re Matt & MaryKate and our story is like no other! We briefly discussed moving and buying a house but it was very casual and MaryKate wanted to speed up the process. MaryKate convinced Matt to meet with Morgan. It was a very warm, beautiful June 2020 Saturday and as we were talking, Matt made it quite clear that he was not only not paying full price for a house but definitely not paying over asking for a house. With the way the market was, Morgan advised us maybe right now wasn’t the best time. MaryKate was consistent and sent Matt tons of house over the next few months. On a random Wednesday in September, while MaryKate was getting her hair done, she found THE house! She immediately called Matt and asked his thoughts. When he agreed to see it, she hung up and called Morgan right away and she was shocked! We were able to get the first showing on that Friday and MaryKate couldn’t contain her excitement. After our whole family walked through with us, we met Morgan at her office. Matt showed up with the neighborhood coms and spreadsheets and MaryKate showed up with her checkbook, haha! After some conversation, Matt speaks up and announces that he is not losing this house. Both Morgan and MaryKate were shocked! We took all of Morgan’s advice to have a very competitive offer and two days later we got the call that we got the house! Two months later, we settled on MaryKate’s 30th birthday and celebrated all day! Here we are almost two years later and we absolutely love our house! Being first time home buyers, we were a little intimidated at first and had a never-ending list of questions.
